Membership Renewal Terms & Conditions
1. Renewal of Membership
Membership is renewed on an annual basis. By submitting payment of the renewal fee, you agree to renew your membership for a further 12-month period from the renewal date.
2. Fees and Payment
Renewal fees are payable in full prior to the renewal date stated on your invoice or renewal notice. We reserve the right to amend membership fees at each renewal period. Any changes will be communicated in advance of your renewal date.
Failure to make payment by the renewal date may result in suspension or termination of membership benefits.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your membership by providing written notice via email or your member account.
4. Refunds
Renewal fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed, except where required by law.
If you are a consumer member, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of renewal. If services have already commenced during this period, a reasonable deduction may apply.
5. Member Directory and Handbook Listing
By renewing your membership, you agree that your business contact details (which may include your name, company name, job title, business address, telephone number, and email address) may be included in our member handbook and online member directory.
These directories may be accessible to other members and, where applicable, to the public.
If you do not wish for your details to be included, you may opt out at any time by contacting us at general@propertymanagersassociation.com and info@retailerspropertyassociation.com. We will process such requests within a reasonable timeframe.
We will only publish information that is relevant to your professional membership and will handle your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.
6. Changes to Membership Benefits
We may update, modify, or withdraw membership benefits, services, or features at any time. Such changes do not entitle members to a refund.
7. Lapsed Membership
If payment is not received by the renewal date, your membership may lapse and access to member benefits will be suspended.
We may, at our discretion, offer a grace period for late renewal.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate membership at any time in the event of non-payment, breach of these terms, or conduct deemed detrimental to the association.
No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By renewing your membership, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions, along with our full terms available on our website.
10. Data Protection
We will process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
